Terrorist Financing Targeting Center Convenes Emergency Session of the Executive Committee

On March 30, the Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC) convened an emergency virtual session of its Executive Committee in response to ongoing hostilities in the Gulf. Co-chaired by Saudi Permanent Counter Terrorism Committee Head Major General Yousef Almohsen and the U.S. Treasury Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing Jonathan Burke, the session provided a forum for member states to assess evolving risks and coordinate a unified response to shared threats.

Member states agreed to consider new, targeted measures to counter terrorist financing, reinforcing the TFTC’s collective resolve to disrupt terrorist networks and safeguard regional and global financial systems from exploitation.
